An open letter from NoviFlow’s CEO Dominique Jodoin to our customers,
partners and suppliers regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic
The impact of COVID-19 on our way of life and the ability to conduct business across many industries could not have been predicted even just a few weeks ago. I want to let you know that we are here for you, our customers, during these unprecedented times. We believe deeply in the power of collaboration with our customers and partners, and that together we will emerge stronger, more resilient and better prepared for the new normal as it emerges.
In response to this ever-changing situation, we want to assure you that NoviFlow is taking every measure necessary to protect the health & safety of our employees, as well as to ensure continued support and delivery of products and services to our customers and partners, many of whom provide critical communication services to the public, businesses, and governments. As of today, none of NoviFlow’s employees have contracted the COVID-19 virus, and we continue to do our very best to provide them with the information and tools they and their families need to keep it that way. Fortunately, Canada, where most of our employees are located, is one of the less affected regions in the World as our Government has implemented strict measures in order to mitigate the impact of the disease.
As a key supplier of vital communications infrastructure in Canada and many other countries, NoviFlow is categorized as an essential business and hence continues its operations in full. We are committed to maintaining customer support service levels and response times. All Professional Services engagements will continue according to plan.
Regarding NoviFlow’s supply chain, we currently have enough inventory to meet our planned obligations in the coming quarters, and since our suppliers have also been designated as essential industries, we do not foresee any major interruptions in planned production.
Access to NoviFlow’s sales, product experts, technical support and management continues unabated. Of course, all of this will take place remotely as we are fighting the COVID-19 together. It is also important to note that we are not pausing or even slowing down our R&D efforts; we have an incredible roadmap for our products, and we will continue to invest in this area as planned. Our financial position ensures NoviFlow is not only well prepared to weather the crisis, but that we won’t be forced to make short-sighted decisions, that we will continue to look at the long-term horizon for our business and invest where it makes sense to help our customers and partners succeed.
The situation is evolving on a daily basis in every country where NoviFlow has operations. Our leadership teams at each location meet regularly to make informed decisions based on the latest facts and recommendations of local government and public health & emergency management authorities. We will continue to review our contingency plans, communicate with our suppliers, and monitor our logistics options to ensure we satisfy customer needs and demands.
