NoviWare 400 introduces high-performance OpenFlow 1.5 switching
NoviFlow adds support for OpenFlow 1.5 to our NoviSwitch line by introducing NoviWare 400.0
NoviFlow has released NoviWare 400.0, bringing OpenFlow 1.5 to our NoviSwitch line of high performance SDN switches and routers. NoviWare 400 includes a slew of enhancements, including OpenFlow 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 version negotiation and the highly anticipated OpenFlow 1.5 Copy-Fields action. For use in solutions that do not yet support OpenFlow 1.5, NoviFlow has also implemented Copy-Fields as an Experimenter action for use with any standard Experimenter capable OpenFlow 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 controller and/or SDN application.
NoviWare 400’s other enhancements include redundant physical OF channel ports, TLS CA certificates, flow entry management of individual switches via our secure CLI, and a series of Experimenter-based enhancements including MPLS payload matching, and an Experimenter action for hashing on user defined ordered list of OpenFlow fields which can be used to load balance on Select Group (all NoviSwitch products), on LAG (NoviSwitch 2000 Series only), or on the Copy-Field action (all NoviSwitch products). All these Experimenter actions are supported with OpenFlow releases 1.3 to 1.5.
